I used to own a shave soap & splash set of Asian Plum by A&E and a shave soap & splash set of Italian Plum by HC&C. I ended up selling both of those sets on eBay. But, I’m definitely keeping this set of Purple Hallow. I’m not trying to throw shade at those other artisans as they typically produce good products, but the performance of Purple Hallow more than competes with both A&E & HC&C! However, the scent strength & profile of Purple Hallow is soooo much better.

It’s interesting, but i like it a lot. Kind of creamy, floral, sweet, with a slightly woodsy base. Its like a new school take, on an old school scent. The plum note actually cones through.

Old time road trip splash

Excellent scent especially for the summer. Coconut, banana, rum, summertime fun. For me it's a road trip to the beach and all the smells that go with it. Good staying power and very nice feeling after the shave.

Strong Masculine Scent

Masculine scent that stays around for a good amount of time. Starts off with the Rum and Plums up front center, then dries down to a very nice Musk, Amber, and Patchouli earthy base. As my wife said smells like a man.
