I believe in 100% transparency in all walks of life. Here is the Hoffman's story. I've suffer from ADHD and SEVERE anxiety for a long time. I started wet shaving not too long ago and I instantly realized that I was involved in something special and that helped me with both ADHD and Anxiety! The feeling of receiving soap from great artisans.....was stress relieving. The feel of High Carbon Steel scraping my face caused an anxiety relief that made me not do what is called skin picking. I would shave instead of pick my skin. It was a relief from something so simple yet so powerful.

So I knew that I had to be involved in this industry. I wanted to have others get a relief from anxiety...so I started Hoffman's out of my 10x12 office in the basement.....searched long and far for great soap that can maybe help someone else like me get that little moment of stress relief from just smelling soap and using it. Does this sound nuts, you bet! BUT I believe there is a great story here....the underdog story....the little guy story!
