A dogfight, or dog fight, is an aerial battle between fighter aircraft conducted at close range. Dogfighting first occurred in Mexico in 1913, shortly after the invention of the airplane. Until at least 1992, it was a component in every major war, though with steadily declining frequency. Since then, longer-range weapons have made dogfighting largely obsolete.
Modern terminology for air-to-air combat is air combat maneuvering (ACM), which refers to tactical situations requiring the use of individual basic fighter maneuvers (BFM) to attack or evade one or more opponents. This differs from aerial warfare, which deals with the strategy involved in planning and executing various missions.
At Hoffman’s, Dogfight really is a metaphor for when times get really rough….it’s either fight or flight, do or die, and/or a last stand against the trouble that lies before you!

I really like your shave soaps and the scent of dogfight reminds me of skiing through the forest on a very cold day ! The performance of all your products are very great, probably the best I’ve found .

Hoffman's has another winner with Dogfight! The scent is reminiscent of walking through an evergreen forest, the scent of pine slipping wistfully past your nose. It doesn't overpower, smells natural, and clean. Many will classify this as a fall and winter or holiday scent, but if you're like me, and spend time hiking outdoors quite a bit, you'll think of this as a year round scent.
Hoffman's new tallow-based soap base is awesome, providing awesome slickness and cushion and lathering easily. The new aftershave toner doesn't burn at all thanks to the absence of alcohol, but smells great and left my face feeling great. The EDP smells great and as it dries down, I get a sense of spice mixing with the top notes of evergreen. Not overpowering, but enough for someone to notice as they walk past.
